The City’s awareness and education campaign to encourage safe and responsible riding on shared paths throughout the city is stepping up a gear as more people choose cycling for their daily commute.
The Share the Path team will continue to encourage gracious and safe cycling in 2014. We pop up at various locations in the City of Sydney local government area four times a week.
In 2013, 164 sessions we’re held at key locations around the city. Bike mechanics provided free tune ups for 1,032 riders and 1,579 free bells were fitted to riders’ bikes.
