The City’s awareness and education campaign to encourage safe and responsible riding on shared paths throughout the city is stepping up a gear as more people choose cycling for their daily commute.
So far this year more than 70 sessions have been held at key locations around the city. Bike mechanics continue to provide free tune ups with 836 riders receiving the free service so far this year.
Over 880 free bells have been fitted to riders’ bikes as the Share the Path team encourages gracious and safe cycling.
Since commencing the program in 2011 the team has engaged with thousands of riders and pedestrians. Watch the video below to find out more about the program – we look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming sessions.
