Testimonial
“Our family of two adults and two primary age children have been utilising the recently completed cycleways in Surry Hills and beyond for school, shopping, recreation and work trips.”
- Farnan Family, Bourke Street residents
“Now that cycleways have been built, I run as many errands on my bike as I can, like going to the dentist in the city or visiting friends for lunch in Surry Hills. It takes me less than 15 minutes to get to the city at a casual speed, even going a few blocks out of my way to use the Bourke Street cycle highway.
“I use the cycleways religiously. I also use marked back streets around Alexandria, Waterloo and Surry hillls where the traffic is low.”
- Tim McTigue, age 30, lives in Waterloo
