Sydney Rides Living Colour Photo Competition

Sydney Cycleways

A photo capturing the spirit of riding a bike in Sydney will be replicated in a city floral display this Spring as part of the Sydney Rides Festival.

Bike lovers are invited to submit a photograph which celebrates Sydney as a riding city. The winning image will be transposed onto a floral display using thousands of Spring blooms as part of the City of Sydney’s annual Living Colour display which runs from September to November.

The image will be one of 13 bike-themed Living Colour displays at key sites throughout the City of Sydney, including Martin Place, Customs House, Hyde Park, Taylor Square, QVB and Town Hall. More than 30,000 potted plants will be used.

The winning image will be chosen by the City and the City’s Living Colour designers and announced on Friday 15 March 2013. Entries close at 9am (AEST) on Friday 1 March 2013.
