The newest kid on the block! For the first time, The Spokes People are staging a new urban criterium on the industrial site of Barangaroo. A criterium or ‘crit’ is a timed race over a closed looping course, and this crit is for competitors and families alike. Starting under the midday sun, a sausage sizzle, Sydney food trucks, music and a pop-up bar will welcome the crowds. The family fun race starts at 2pm for everyone to have a go, before the roadies have their turn at 3.30pm, followed by the fixed crits at 5pm.
